Golf Club Repair in Richmond

In-house golf club repair at Mulligan's in Richmond. Loft and lie adjustment, head re-epoxy, ferrule replacement, hosel cleanup. Diagnosed at the counter, with a turnaround you get at drop-off.

Golf irons and a driver laid out on a wooden workbench for repair

Most club problems are a twenty-minute fix, not a reason to buy new.

Bent lie angles, a head that rattles, a cracked ferrule, a crown ding, grips gone slick. Jay and Matt have seen all of it at the bench, and most of it gets a club playing right again for a fraction of what a replacement costs.

We diagnose in front of you. Set the club on the counter, we put a straightedge and a loft and lie gauge on it, tell you exactly what is wrong, and quote the fix before we touch a thing. No mystery charges at pickup.

Everything happens in-house at the shop. You are not shipping your clubs to a regional repair center and waiting two weeks. We will give you a realistic turnaround when you drop the club off, and anything that needs an ordered part adds time. We tell you up front.

And if a club genuinely is not worth repairing, we will tell you that too, along with what it would cost to rebuild or replace it. We would rather keep a customer than win a repair ticket.

Common questions

Before you bring it in.

How much does golf club repair cost in Richmond?

It depends on the repair. Common counter jobs (ferrule replacement, loft and lie adjustment, a single regrip) typically run $10 to $25. Larger work like a head replacement or a shaft pull varies. Call 804.784.6070 with what is going on and we will quote you over the phone.

How long does club repair take?

It depends on the repair and how full the bench is that week. We give you a realistic turnaround when you drop the club off, and anything that needs an ordered part adds time. Call 804.784.6070 for a current estimate.

Is it worth repairing old clubs or should I just replace them?

Often it is worth repairing. A bent head, a loose hosel, or worn grips do not mean the club is done. We will diagnose it honestly and, if a fix does not make sense, tell you straight and show you what a replacement or rebuild would cost instead.

Can you fix a clubhead that rattles or feels loose?

Yes. A rattle is usually a broken-down epoxy bond or a piece of tip weight that has come loose. We pull the head, clean the hosel, and re-epoxy it to spec. We give you a turnaround when you drop it off.

Do I need an appointment to drop off a repair?

No. Walk in during shop hours, Monday through Saturday 10am to 7pm. Repairs are handled at the counter on a first-come basis. Fittings are the only thing we ask you to call ahead for.
