Matt and Jay have one of the best golf shops I’ve been to. They’re both extremely knowledgeable with a huge variety and fair prices. It’s always cool to find limited release stuff there. Different level of service vs the big stores. Jay’s attention to detail during a fitting was top notch. Highly recommended.

This is the first review I've ever written. This is the best golf shop I've ever visited. I highly recommend Jay for his recommendations and his setup. First-class service and, most importantly, absolutely no pressure to buy. The guys put together a perfectly tailored used golf set for me, including a new bag. What a gem of a place and the gentlemen working the counter was a huge help. Put together some clubs for my son who just started golfing and I ended up buying a few things for myself. I am never going to another shop. Great service, great prices and an easy location to get to.

I came here by recommendation of a local Facebook group to change the grips of my clubs. While I was waiting, I saw multiple patrons come in and out of the shop. Some were there to find something to add to their bag and others were there to shoot the breeze. While assisting and catching up with regular patrons, Jay took the time to educate me on how to regroup my clubs so I could maybe try to do them myself next time and also give me some insight on general club fitting. It's a small little shop (next to a decent driving range), but there is undoubtedly a sense of community here. Between the patron who was trying out all sorts of clubs from the available selection to the gentleman who wanted to dibs on the next shipment of a particular brand of clubs that was coming in that week. TL;DR - Come for the service. Stay for the people.

This was so much fun while visiting!! It was hot but we found the shade and enjoyed this very competitive game of putt putt! Very pretty and I love the water features! Very clean! Enjoyed the picnic tables and snacks!

This place is a well kept secret. If you need to get fitted, it's a great option. Mulligans has a wide assort of manufactures to choose from, even more than Golf Galaxy. Prices are reasonable, and Matt will give you great service. He's been at this location for 16 years, and it shows. Go in and see him for your next purchase you won't be disappointed.

Jay fitted my son in law with a new set of Mizuno irons and a new Callaway driver and hybrid 5 iron. It was a super experience and prices are better than Golf Galaxy or Club Champion. Highly recommend you visit their great golf shop as you will not be anything but delighted!

Jay and his staff have been the best golf store I have ever worked with. If you are looking to get fit or buy anything this is the place to go, they will make sure you are taken care of and will continue to take care of you if you have any issues after buying from them. I bought new irons from them and they communicated with me for the entire time updating me on arrival time etc. Had an issue with one of the clubs and it got replaced immediately. They respond very quickly and take care of their customers, I would send anybody I know here!

Jay and Matt are the running the best kept secret in the Virginia Golf community. They have a wide selection and are very knowledgeable on fitting all levels of golfers. I would highly recommend Mulligans to anyone looking to match today's club technology to their individual swing and game.

Guys are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices cant compete with Golf Galaxy, but their service is way more tied to customer.

Wow the best golf shop in Richmond. Got fitted with NO Charge let me decide on what I wanted. Clubs came in two weeks later. They have all the brands you can ask for.

Dropped by while I was in the area today. Impressive selection and owner Matt was great to talk to. I picked up a used wedge set. I think the owners should consider price labels, but other than that I was impressed by the shop selection and the friendliness of the owner.
